ALKU - IIT BOMBAY SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

As a result of our Bilateral Agreement Responsible Miss Ludmila Reger’s initiative, ALKU has contacted the representatives of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India  (IIT Bombay). IIT Bombay International Relations Office Coordinator Dean Prof. Dr. Amit Agrawal and Ms. Chandrika Naik and ALKÜ International Relations Office Coordinator Dr. Mustafa Alpin Gülşen, Vice Coordinator Inst. Eren İrfanoğlu and Bilateral Agreement Responsible Miss Ludmila Reger have agreed upon the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) over an official Zoom meeting. Consecutively, the MoU has been confirmed and signed by ALKU Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Kalan and  IIT Bombay Rector Prof. Dr. Subhasis Chaudhuri.

In this sense, ALKU became the 4th partner of IIT Bombay form Turkey, following Boğaziçi University, Koç University, and Sabancı University.

The IIT Bombay, established in 1958, since then has grown to emerge as one of the top technical universities in the world. The university has been ranked 177 in the QS World Rankings 2022. The institute offers 34 centers, 17 departments, 3 schools with more than 60 courses in the stream of Engineering and Technology, Science, and Management. Various bilateral agreements facilitate collaboration through faculty and student exchange programs.
