ALKU partıcıpated ın meetıngs wıth two Amerıcan unıversıtıes
Vice Coordinator of the International Relations Office Inst. Eren İrfanoğlu and Bilateral Agreements Responsible Ludmilla Reger participated in two meetings with American universities: the University of Northern Iowa and Valdosta State University. The University of Northern Iowa was established in 1876, and it is ranked second in the “Top Public Schools Regional University (Midwest)” category. Valdosta State University was established in 1906 and it is ranked 299 - 391 in the 2022 edition of Best Colleges in National Universities.
Representing the University of Northern Iowa, International Relations Unit Manager Dr. Kristina Marchesani, and professor at the Faculty of Educational Science Dr. Roberto Swazo attended the meeting. As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to establish a common graduate-level department and carry out joint research projects in the future.
The representative of Valdosta State University, Professor of Economics Dr. Zulal Sogutlu Denaux, and representatives of ALKU, Assoc. Dr. Mert Topçu, Inst. Eren İrfanoğlu and Ludmilla Reger agreed in the meeting to conduct a memorandum of understanding in the field of economic studies.
