ALKU AND NOAKHALI SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVESITY IN BANGLADESH ORGANIZED A MEETING
On the 21st of June, an Erasmus KA171 meeting was organized between ALKU and the Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) in Bangladesh which was established in 2001. Presently the NSTU has 30 departments under six faculties and two institutes, and altogether it has nearly 7 000 students. The agenda of the meeting was to introduce the universities and their staff to each other, discuss the details of the cooperation between the two institutions, and establish an Erasmus KA171 Agreement and MOU.
Representing ALKU’s International Relations Office, Vice Coordinator Inst. Eren Irfanoğlu and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Inst. Gülsiye Bıcak participated in the meeting with 2 academic staff members from the Noakhali Science and Technology University: Dr. Md. Roknuzzaman Siddiky and Prof.Dr. Mohammed Newaz Bahadur. Both expressed their interest to develop a fruitful cooperation between two universities.
